Raymundo C., age 71 of Cherry Hill on July 31, 2019. Beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Esguerra). Devoted father of Maria "Mae" (Chris) Mulroy of Cherry Hill and Rosario "Fae" (Andrew) Fell of Dunstable, Massachusetts and pre-deceased daughter Angela. Loving grandfather of Angelica, Tristen, Francesca, Joseph, Aiden, and Liam. Boots was a Thomasian, and graduated from the University of Santo Thomas College of Architecture in 1969, became a Senior Partner of Amado Dejesus Industries Inc. He Immigrated to the US in 1981, worked for the Marsh Co. in Hawaii, then Moliterno Designs in New York and Rhode Island, Joseph Tarquini Organization in Camden , NJ and eventually headed the planning, zoning and engineering department for the Township of Cherry Hill and served on the planning board for 12 years , became an Asian American Advisor to Camden County, sat on the Diversity Council of Cherry Hill . He was the President of the Filipino American Society of South Jersey (FASSJ), Chairman of the board of FASSJ for 15 yrs and served 3 terms as Vice President of the Filipino Executive Council of Greater Philadelphia (FECGP). As an original member of the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Monument Committee, and was one for the four architects who designed the dual monument in Camden County. Boots loved serving his community to make it a better place for the next generation and enjoyed fundraising for charitable events hosted by the many Filipino organizations. He wanted to ensure all Filipino Americans were able to reflect, remember and carry on their part of history here in the United States and to never forget where they came from. He loved to sing endless karaoke to the songs of Frank Sinatra, he loved dancing, antiquing and enjoying nature walks with his wife, and enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Celtics with his girls and his grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Thursday 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at Christ Our Light RC Church, 402 N Kings Highway, Cherry Hill followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill.
